What is the Denominator?
- The Denominator is a secure on-line cash-receiving terminal built as a modular unit which can be installed at a client’s site and be operational within 2 hours post arrival. No special vehicles are required to deliver any of the components.
- The device consists of an SABS approved safe, the latter built to the required CAT specification of the client, an escrow unit, high speed bill acceptor and touch screen with built in printer.
How does it work?
- Bulk cash notes are placed irrespective of their denomination and face value onto the high speed bill acceptor, the Denominator will count and verify every note. On accepting the transaction the notes are dropped into the secure Denominator and the teller issued with a receipt containing all the required information from the last deposit.
- The Denominator will print an end of day/shift value transaction report which will detail the total value of all drops in the device since the last cash up and/or CIT collection.
- The client’s CIT company will do the daily collections of the cash in the safe with the amount to be deposited into the client’s bank account within an agreed time frame by the client’s bank.
